A beautiful and larger locket from the Aesthetic Period of the Victorian era circa late 1800's, engraved with a bird on a bamboo branch.? With original frame and glass on one side and a gorgeous piece of period silk taffeta on the other.? Comes with an 18 contemporary sterling chain (pictured) but could use a chunkier chain!

Measures 2 1/8 x 1 1/4.

Not stamped or signed but tested for sterling.

Weighs 13.3 grams.

In excellent antique condition with nice patina.
